Our Mission

“We will provide an environment where all individuals are encouraged to learn, develop and achieve their potential within an Armenian Christian community.”

In the Year 404, the Armenian people had their first alphabet and soon after, many schools were established in several regions of Armenia. This desire to learn continues many centuries later. Led by St Gregory's Lantern, Father Anton's vision has paved the way for a generation of children who have now become proud representatives of their community, both as Christians and Armenians, carrying forth “the lantern” to enlighten and lead the next generation of Armenians in Australia.

Our School emblem "Roots" and motto, "We Will Grow" - symbolise the regrowth of a Nation in a part of the world far removed from the ancient Christian ancestral lands of Armenia. With “no roots” we have “no fruits” and so, it is our aim to promote the beauty and strength of our Armenian culture here in Australia, which is proudly multicultural.
