Awards Night and Year 6 Graduation

At 7:30pm on Wednesday 19 December, a graduation ceremony will be held for the students of Year 6 to celebrate the end of their primary school years. Awards will also be presented on the night.

Carols by Candlelight

Our Carols by Candlelight service will now be taking place on Saturday 15th December at the school. A wonderful evening has been planned, starting at 6 o'clock. Delicious buffet food will be available as well as refreshments. Over the course of the night there will be both Armenian and English carols, a nativity play, a dance performance and if we've been very very good this year, a visit from Santa himself. Our students have worked very hard to prepare for such a special night, so please come along to not only show your support but also enjoy what is set to be a lovely evening of singing and friendship at a magical time of year.

K-6 Swim School: Learn to Swim Program

The Learn to Swim Program for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 will commence on Monday 26 November until Friday 7 December at Hawkesbury Oasis Leisure Centre, South Windsor. Students are to wear their sports uniform with their costume underneath each day (bikinis are not permitted for girls). Please refer to the swimming letter, recently sent out, for more specific details regarding costs and items to pack.

Postponed: K-6 Sports Incursion

"Tabloid Sports Carnival" will now take place on Wednesday 21 November, weather permitting.

Assembly Dates for the Primary School

Parents and relatives are invited to watch our class assemblies. Assembly dates are as follows:

Years 5 & 6: Friday 9 November.

Years 3 & 4: Friday 16 November- starting after lunch at 1:45pm.

Years K, 1 & 2: Thursday 13 December at midday.

Most Class assemblies start at 12:10pm, so please arrive in good time to avoid disappointment.

School Exhibition

St Gregory's Armenian School, Miss Clodine and Mr El Haddad cordially invite parents and friends of the School, to the 2007 Visual Arts, Photography and Design/ Technology Exhibition. A celebration showcasing the creative skills of Year 6 and High School students.

It will be held on Friday 2 November at 7pm in our School hall. This year we have a special guest - Mr Tristan Sharp, Curator of Art Express

K-6 Sports Incursion

On Wednesday 31 October "Tabloid Sports Carnivals" will be visiting the Primary School. The carnival is designed to engage children in physical challenges across a range of fun, educational sports activities. A letter will be sent out shortly.

Term 3 2007

Athletics Carnival

This Friday 28 September will be our Athletics Carnival starting between 9-9:30 at the school Oval.

School Mass

Parents are invited to join our students and Father Warren for a Mass of Reconciliation on Thursday 27 September at 9:30 in the hall.

Hantes Update

Our exciting Hantes will be taking place this Sunday. We need all students to be dropped off at Mount St Benedict's (see below for address) at 2pm for final preparations and rehearsals. Due to the early start, we recommend providing a snack and a drink for the younger students.

The performance will begin promptly at 4pm, so please be sat down in the hall by 3:50pm at the very latest. If applicable, may we also remind you that the College is a non-smoking venue including the outdoor areas.

Annual Hantes

We are looking forward to our Hantes on Sunday 23 September. This year our Hantes will be held at Mount St Benedict's College, 447A Pennant Hills Rd, Pennant Hills, NSW 2120.

Armenian Cultural Festival

St Gregory's is proud to announce that a group of our students will be attending the fourth Armenian Cultural Festival at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour on Sunday 16 September. This festival will showcase Armenian culture through song, dance, art, culture and food. Please come along and show your support and be part of the 30,000 people expected to attend!

Science Fair

As part of National Science Week the school will be holding our popular Science Fair on Friday 24 August. This year's theme is "Antartic Science" to celebrate International Polar Year.
