School Library

St. Gregory’s Armenian School Library is an educational resource centre for the school community. It endeavors to give quality service to students and teachers, as individuals or in groups, and to cater for their special needs and expectations. The Library aims to enable students to became independent learners, to be confident using a variety of resources, value learning as a lifelong process and demonstrate appropriate information skills development.

The library is open from 8.00am until 4.00pm on school days and 9.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday (Parents are welcome). This includes class bookings from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Library is also open every lunchtime, for work and quiet leisure activities (Board Games, Chess, Lego) for both primary and secondary students.

The Library therefore, provides a welcoming and stimulating environment where the love of reading and creative literacy pursuits can be fostered within the framework of authentic experiences. This is why it is very important that all students especially in the primary school bring their library bag. It is important that students read and borrow different books every week.
